Temporary schedule change

Hey everybody out there.

You might have noticed that I've sort of missed some updates recently. I had a good run of no missed days, but it's fallen apart recently. At the moment there always seems to be something going on and I have no sort of routine going on.

Because of all this I'm finding it hard to actually stick to my update schedule and, honestly, I don't think things are going to get any more organised for a while yet, so until things feel settled and normal again I'm cutting back to weekly updates. Yea, I know. That sucks, but I'd rather have one garaunteed update a week than an unknown amount of updates appearing at random times.

The short version: Until further notice comics will be going up every Friday morning (Thursday night in some parts of the world).

We apologise for the inconvenience

Wednesdays are the new Tuesdays

As you may have notices, it's now Wednesday in some places in the world, here included, and there hasn't been a comic yet.

Sorry about that. Things came up.
A comic will be posted some time in the next 24 hours though.

RSS Overhauled

Just a note to say one of two things,

One, Sorry about the downtime, I think its been fixed now,
Two, I have overhauled the RSS creator so that it now features little preview images =^..^=,

Introductions

Hello and welcome to the new Gilbert and the Grim Rabbit website. I had planned to say something here, but due to having to change pen twice in order to get a sentence out I've sort of forgotten it, so now I'm just going to wing it.

The first ever Gilbert and Grim strip uploaded appeared on a default blogger site on September 20th 2006 at 9:58am GMT. That comic and the next forty-odd pages have since been relegated to the archives (named Version 1.0).

A few weeks later the comic moved home to Smack Jeeves and due to my complete inability to change a text colour, a friend of mine, named as Goose elsewhere on the site, pushed Jess in my direction to help. She completely redesigned the site.

That comic had some issues so I relaunched it on the 16th of May 2008. It was my very first webcomic and I was learning as I went. I still am learning, to be honest.

Now that the new comic has hit 100 proper pages, more than dubling the old version's count, Gilbert and Grim has another new home, build from scrarch by Jess, because she's like that =)

This site took her a lot of work but she managed, in the nick of time, to get it online in time for the 100th comic. This just goes to show how great she is.

There's a couple of things still to do. The user comment system is the most obvious, but it's on it's way. We just wanted to make sure everything works fine before it's added to the site.

I met a lot of cool people and found a lot of cool comics through Smack Jeeves, but now it's time to move on.

I hope everybody likes the new site and doesn't mind me babbling like this.

Sorry about that, I don't know what came over me (no jokes please, yes that also goes for you, you sniveling maggots in the back row, don't think that I can't here you, cos I can, you know being a cat girl and all) normally I can't stand people who do that (the thing with the things, ohh well you know, don't you) and so I'm not going to talk to myself for the rest of the day, Yes! Thats right! No Talky!

So in regard to the site, its still very much beta and as so I would apprecate you dropping me a line (using the contact us link) if you find a bug!

In response to the interest shown in the software its self, its still currently under development and will be released when the version number (shown at the bottom on the screen) hits V1.0f, till then, if you want to beta test you can do by droping me a line or asking me or Wendy in the webcomics chatroom on QuakeNet.
